放光瑞

The auspicious ray emitted from between the eyebrows of the Buddha before pronouncing the <Lotus Sutra>.

謂佛將說法華， 先放毫光， 照於此土， 以至他土， 與常放光有異， 故名放光瑞。 經云： 佛放眉間白毫相光， 遍照東方萬八千世界。 是也。
